When I first started working newborns, I didn’t realize that one of my favorite aspects of the job would be something non-photography related. Naturally I love spending time with the amazing the bundles that I photograph, but there are other people that I enjoy spending time with as well–their mommies! Considering that newborn sessions can be rather long with a lot of down-time, it creates an atmosphere conducive to conversation. Being a mother of 3 myself, I understand what the trials and joys of newborn motherhood can be. If you put two mommies in a room together with similar situations, it’s only natural that they bond in some way, and that’s exactly what the mommy of this beautiful little girl and I did. Thank you, Jillian, for the wonderful conversation!

Meet her little bundle Ava, who is having quite the rough start with new life. Despite struggling with jaundice and tongue-tie, she’s still perfect in every way possible. Congratulations ‘Z’ family!

Brian - Outstanding job as always dear! the images are incredible as they tend to be with you behind the lens. I think one of the things that struck me most is the dialogue or narrative. I feel that aside from creating incredible lasting images, no... memories, for families one of the most unique and rewarding perks of our job is the human contact we make. Its the relationships we build with the families. I love that about our craft and wholly embrace it and honestly thank god daily that I have the opportunity to get so much out of this wonderful thing we do. I can not call it a job or work, that just doesn't sound right... Anyway, kudos to you!
